Now known as Middletons SolicitorsFrom start to finish (and beyond) we have been extremely unimpressed by the service from this companyThey were lacking key information throughout the purchase of our house and for no obvious reason, the purchase of the house took far longer than anticpated (probably because our solicitor kept going on holiday)To top it all off, once we moved in, the fridge freezer and washing machine were not left behind as per the contract, however Middletons appear to be more than happy to ignore this breach of contract.Avoid at all costs
Under no circumstances should anybody use Middleton & Upsall for any conveyancing needs! They are completely un-responsive, have no customer service ability and frankly for the amount of money the charge terrible! We purchase a house using them earlier this year and have a question about the contract after the fact. I first raised the issue through Jo. our solicitor, on October 17th 2018. After 2 follow up emails I finally got a response on the 12th November informing me she had been out of the office and was getting our file. Here we are now, on the 7th December after 2 further follow up emails, with no response whatsoever. If you value customer service and good communication when parting with the amounts of money required in buying a house, please look elsewhere! Do not put yourself through the misery of dealing with Middleton & Upsall
