We have been visiting Center Parcs for over 25 years. We love everything about it. Its got very busy over the years like most things I suppose but nonetheless we love it. The Longleat Forest location is our favourite. Its big and beautiful. Lovey walks and cycle routes and the usual CP facilities. Our pics are from a recent visit when we had some snow but still lovely.
We went for the Christmas break. It was lovely. The weather was with us, which meant lots of outdoor time and plenty of walking. In the evenings, the low fences down the main footpath were heavily decorated with lights (enough twinkle to feel nice, but no heavy flicker to upset the photosensitive or epileptic), and downward projectors showing snowflake patterns on the ground. The area above the main restaurants and Waffle House was extensively decorated as a large set of seasonal imagery, that was very attractive and great for families, particularly those with small children. Both animatronic and real reindeer, though the last seemed a bit dispirited, and I'd hope and expect given the proximity of Longleat, that they're normally in a much larger enclosure. They seemed fit and well though. Personally I'd have liked a clearer reference to Christmas, but it was still very pleasant. The walkways and cycleways down to the doors facilitiesThe staff in the facilities shops, etc were very friendly and helpful, especially given that they were working the holiday season. There was a great atmosphere - even more than a normal holiday just about everyone was happy, chatty and friendly.
What a place to relax and get away from everything. So much to do. I would look online and book a few things for children. Swimming pool was amazing. All food places were really good. Very clean. We went start of December and how they turned the whole area into Xmas theme was really good. Not just one area. Everywhere was Xmas theme and it's a big old area. See go back.
Been to a few different Center Parcs and Longleat is our favorite and we always come back here. Its not only great in summer but winter is also great and they go all out on the Christmas decorations.Already booked our next stay love it.
I've had so many visits and so many good memories of Center Parcs. One of the best places to do as much or as little as you want. Great for couples, families and friends... but of course the best thing about the place is the swimming paradise and the choice of food.
